Nigel by Lizzy Strong
Lazing under a blackberry bush
Hiding from the sun
Sat Nigel in his birthday suit
Wanting lots of fun
He hadn't time for waiting
He hadn't time to care
He hadn't time for pondering
Of what he had to wear
He must get to his party
Where he was the special guest
Others complained passionately
That Nigel was a pest
Now Nigel did not worry
Just drank beer from his sunken jug
And waited for the clouds to come
For Nigel was a slug
