I received 2 messages today. (I'll keep names anonymous, but you know who you are)
The other was this picture ;
And this message;
I decided to send you this today in the hope that it's a bit of a pick me up.
Although in your case I think it should say "Don't let anyTHING dull your sparkle" or "Don't let Cancer dull your sparkle".
I am a great believer that even when it seems you have everything against you, each day you have life, you can allow that 'sparkle' to remain. It may not be as it used to - but even when all energy is lost - that sparkle can remain in the heart & in the eyes & can still reach out to those around you.
You are greatly missed.
Keep fighting!!
I want to say thank you and share them both with people.......and I'll try to keep sparkling and laughing! (....oh and taking the medicine of course!!

I have just watched this film;
I rented it through amazon prime.
It is the story of a boy (who is clearly autistic) and a search that he is on. It's linked to September 11th and the twin towers.
It is a long movie of 2 hours, but it is lovely. I'd never heard of it before, but I wholeheartedly encourage you to watch it.

RIP to Robin Williams.
So sad. I have always loved his portrayal of Patch Adams. Based on a true story about a man called Hunter Adams. It really makes you want to make a difference in life.
Bitter sweet.
Have a search for it on line or rent to movie

Random Acts of Kindness
Make a difference....no matter how small. You never know how much you can do for someone until you do it. Be that person. Do one kind thing. Then tell me how you feel.Me? Well last night I wrote 12 pages on SEN advice to help my nurse pass her course and today I read out the questions and filled in the answers of the NHS discharge questionnaire to my next door neighbour, an 85 year old woman who couldn't see properly.
Today I gave encouragement to a woman who stood for the first time in 2 and a half weeks.
Today I went and sat with a total stranger and let her talk her way to the answer she already knew.
What could you do?
